Judges and staff were impressed with the high quality submissions, which provide information and resources about dating abuse and healthy relationships to teens and young adults.

The report indicates several factors make Washington prone to human trafficking: Seattle is part of a trafficking circuit that can include Honolulu, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Portland, Vancouver (Clark County), Yakima and Canada.

Several different words are used to describe teen dating violence. Dating violence is widespread with serious long-term and short-term effects.
