I have been seeing reports that players are having issues running Diablo III by clicking the game client's icon in the Diablo III folder, and after having experienced the same by testing on my installation, I have determined the cause and found a series of steps that will resolve this issue for you and allow you to once again use the Diablo III icon to launch your game as you did prior to this patch:1) Navigate to the folder containing the Diablo 3 game executable and the Diablo 3 Launcher.2) Delete the file Diablo III Launcher (move to trash via CMD-Delete/Backspace).3) Run the Blizzard Desktop App.You should already have this as it is required to run Diablo 3 as of 2.0.1.Solution 1 – Make sure that your drivers are up to date Diablo 3 crashes can be caused by outdated video driver, therefore if you’re experiencing any issues with Diablo 3, we strongly urge you to update your drivers first. Many users reported that downloading the latest drivers for their graphic card fixed the crashing issues, so make sure you try that.ATI Radeon HD 4600, 4700, 4800, 5000, 60 series products are unaffected, as is Windows XP.Update: ATI has released a Catalyst 12.4a driver hotfix for the affected cards.Error 37 simply means: "The service is undergoing maintenance, please try again later." Error 12 is caused by "the Global Play feature being disabled until all regions are active".
Many Windows 10 users are fans of Diablo 3, but unfortunately, Diablo 3 has certain issues on Windows 10, and today we’re going to address those issues.
After a reasonable hiatus from Blizzard games, I have decided to reinstall Diablo 3.
I used to have it installed and working on this machine and removed my previous install using Add/Remove Programs.
in the meantime what I did was simply load battle net, let it initialize for few seconds and click on play and the game launches normally... That's gonna require a BDA update or a fix to whatever URL or file is causing (potentially) bad patch data to be picked up by the BDA.
This one is out of our hands.________________________________________________Technical Support MVPOfficial Mac Tech Support Forum Cookie™ (Mint Chocolate Chip)Guaranteed tasty; Potentially volatile when dipped in General Forums Syrup® step you took in order?
